Mike Salter

Mike Salter

Mike Salter is the Managing Director and CEO of Azam International Technologies Limited. Born in 1946, his wealth of experience in the computer industry since 1967 is extensive: IBM at a senior level, President of an American software company for 3 years, and an Executive level manager for a UK based international software vendor.

Mike was given the job by IBM in the early 1980's on behalf of its European companies, to decide what to do with, and how to price, a strange hardware device which landed on his desk one day called the PC. Following many varied senior roles with IBM in the 80's and 90's, Mike decided in 1995 to take early retirement. He was then taken back as a Consultant manager for nearly 2 years.... by IBM.

Mike's experience in the above compounded by his skills as a people motivator, S+M specialist and successful business man resulted in his being specifically headhunted for the role of global distributor for the Azam product and CEO of Azam International Technologies Limited.

Outside work Mike is a keen golfer and enjoys foreign travel with his wife Jane (usually to golf locations). Although a very keen football (soccer) player in his youth who actually played in the Arsenal youth team in the early 60's, Mike now prefers the less strenuous method of participating in his favourite sport by watching it live in person, or on TV.

Andronicos

Andronicos

Andronicos is a British Greek Cypriot who was born in Africa and moved to England when he was 3 years old. He is an expert on the automation of ITIL best practice at large organizations worldwide, and the setting up of global Helpdesks. He has lectured in many countries over the years and has been a guest speaker at various international computer conferences using his unorthodox style of humour and irreverence to liven up the usually nerdish subject matter. Based in North America and Cyprus, Andronicos is not involved in the day to day running of Azam IT and is an unpaid part time volunteer.

Andronicos has also patented a process and system to harvest late payment surcharges, code named 'The Robin Hood Initiative', to benefit registered charities, national tax authorities, and small businesses internationally.

His experiences in life and work, and personality, have all helped create the Azam product and influence its development. He is now involved in launching ADI: The Azam Disabilities Initiative and researching the use of Azam in creating audio stimulation for comatose and brain injured patients.

Outside his business interests, using his experiences in 'Problem Management', Andronicos has written an internationally popular very unusual website and paradoxical book (entitled '12-12-12') to get young people interested in proposing solutions to the major problems in the world and their local communities in general. In collaboration with the gifted actor Dean Taylor, he is also the joint founder of ADZ (Aardvark, Dean and Zed); an organization that provides corporations with humor consultancy and training films. For additional information on the various commercial and philanthropic projects he is working on, please refer to www.andronicos.net.

Steve Perrins

Steve Perrins

Steve Perrins is the Development Manager for the Azam product. He has led the international team of technicians to actually build Azam and plans to take a leading role in future upgrades and versions.

Steve's extensive experience with computers goes back to the 80's when he decided to change course from a career as an officer in the Merchant Navy. Proficient in several Mainframe and PC languages at a professional level, management skills learned from his younger days running a tight ship, and experiences from providing technical expertise for several major European Banking groups, Steve is Azam IT's technical guru (Admiral) for the Azam product.

His greatest hobby is sailing with his family and friends and for this reason owns a boat which cruises the South Coast of England on sunny days off work.

Sailing has a calming effect on Steve's hectic life. He runs an organization that specializes in IT support, development and just about anything to do with PCs and website support. Virus removal is a speciality. If you own a small business that has between 1 and 100 PCs within 30 miles of Poole, Dorset (England), SCP Computer Services is the company to use. If you are an Azam software user, Steve will personally manage your account!1
